I just love Nom Wah Tea Parlor for dim sum on the weekends. It’s just a solid spot with great food and a friendly, chill atmosphere. Where else can you enjoy dumplings made to order while listening to The Cure and watching the Knicks?! Exactly. Owner Wilson Tang has taken a family business and done things his way - and it works!
We feasted on several kinds of shrimp dumplings, the signature giant roast pork buns, leafy “kailan” greens with oyster sauce, all topped with Nom Wah’s house-made chili oil. The round shrimp and snow pea leaf dumplings are my favorite.
