I really love Gramercy Tavern during the week. With my favorite Orange Blossom cocktail in hand, it’s always a debate on whether I should get the kielbasa with spaetzle or something else. This time I got something else, a delectable pork chop, perfectly cooked, with crispy kale (I suspect it was deep fried), topped with cicharones. (It was supposed to come with polenta, but I’m not a polenta fan, so I asked for more kale). What a treat! It was an outstanding dish and I can’t wait to go back and have it again before they take it off the menu for the season. Go and try it for yourself! You won’t be disappointed.
